Angeline Has Something to Say So Please to Her Attention Pay

By
Sonja Grover, Ph.D.

Book 10: Children’s Human Rights and Peace Series

(The child’s right to freedom of expression and the right to be heard)

What’s It All About

No matter the language a child does speak,

Adults aren’t inclined the meaning to seek,

To children’s talk they little attention pay,

Thus missing the important things that they say,

But children’s talk deserves a lot of respect,

Since it has good ideas as you should expect.

….And its about 13 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child concerning the child’s right to freedom of expression which says : “The child shall have the right …to seek, receive and impart information and ideas…”as long as they “respect the rights and reputations of others.”  So…that means the child will also need someone to listen to his or her communications.
