What’s It All About
Good manners are important; that’s correct,
But no child can be expected to be perfect,
A child must have time to relax,
That’s just one of those childhood facts.
…. And it’s about Article 5 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child which states that the legal guardians of the child will “provide appropriate direction and guidance…” to the child in exercising his or her rights under the Convention consistent with the child’s “evolving capacities.”
