This story tells of physical activity,
Needed for living life healthily,
For the child’s right to engage in sport,
Must nothing at all for any child thwart.
…And it’s about Article 29 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child which states that education of the child shall also be directed to: “the development of the child’s …physical abilities to their fullest potential” and Article 31 which concerns “the right of the child to recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child…”
